The End Violence Project Redesigns Website to Enhance Visitors’ Experience

Bryn Mawr, PA  Oct 1, 2009 – The Board of Directors of The End Violence Project ("EVP" or "the Project") is pleased to announce the redesign of the EVP website aimed to enhance the Project's web visitors' experience.

"The overall intent of this redesign is to powerfully communicate The End Violence Project’s mission as well as to provide a medium for our various publics – our clients, our donors and our volunteers – to be kept abreast of the Project’s activities and initiatives," says Stuart P. Papavassiliou, Director of Communications. "In addition, our board has long envisioned a website that compels visitors who are less familiar with the Project to learn about EVP. We are very pleased with the outcome."

James Roberts, Treasurer, The End Violence Project, adds: "I am very happy with the new website. I feel it more accurately reflects who we are as an organization and want to compliment John Stritzinger for his technical help and Greg Kanivski for his financial support."

"I am particularly proud of the images on the site which show the people at the heart of our organization, both the volunteers and the program participants. I think as the public face of our organization this website will please both our supporters and people wanting to learn more about what we do. In the very near future we expect to add additional features to allow people to be more involved with our important mission."

The End Violence Project offers programs in five prisons in three states and in one Community Correction Center in Philadelphia. Whether in or out of prison, people who attend the programs are encouraged to forgive and are provided principles, tools, and opportunities for healing and creating a life of freedom, integrity, contribution and compassionate leadership.
